Frail mail, 2023
Frail mail is an interpretation of plants and their meanings used in the fower post. Various species would carry different messages, subtly delivering the hidden meaning to their receipient. I wanted to explore these meanings through the medium of cyanotype printing, enjoying the process that connected me more to the organic matter of plants I worked with. Wondering why certain specimens would be connected so strongly with particular emotions in the universal language that still lingers in the general subconsciousness today.
