Temporary intimacy
Temporary intimacy is a project I started in 2021 to research how temporarity of my landscape artworks influences my process. I learned how to adjust my activity to the surroundings and focus on the making rather than the planning. It brought a lot of flexiblity and freedom to my practice. It deepened my relationship with the materials I am using and allowed my to feel more connected to the space in which I am creating. With environmental sculptures I am never able to plan the outcome in detail so I end up working with less stress, knowing that part of the project is the uncertainty of the results.
